My Why
Everlee's story.
My youngest daughter Everlee Jo, was born on Sept 8.2015, and our hello lasted only 20 mins before we had to say goodbye. This goodbye was way too soon. Our time was cut too short. Something happened that you never imagine or could ever prepare for. But alongside grief there is JOY. She was perfect. Curly blonde hair with a button nose you wanted to kiss for a lifetime. Our love is simply endless for her. We knew her story will never end in her death. We have learned over time that she lives on through us. Carried in our hearts now. Still shining in so many ways. She is at the heart of the center and in everything I do now.
And hence the name Everlee After was born. For in her short life and her ever standing presence around us after her death she's taught me more than a lifetimes worth of wisdom to hold onto. There is immense beauty and joy to find still amidst life's unplanned heartache and the wreckage of this early goodbye. I will always sing her praises, so thankful she's ours.
I am who I am today because of her.
My love for life and others emulate my heart for her. I choose to see the small wonderful details of moments that make our lives fuller because of her. I live more fearlessly for her. I see the overwhelming beauty that surrounds us on earth with a different reverence and awe. I see beauty in life's pain now. I continuously strive to make the most of each moment now and make a point to REMEMBER it all and just soak it all up, every moment. Life has so much to offer us. We get to choose to see the beauty in it. My goal is to magnify that for you as well in your own moments.
Our time with our loved ones is so valuable. Cherished. And make up all the best parts of who we are. I never want to forget that and will always want to preserve that. Grateful for any moment we are blessed with them.
I have been photographer for all life's moments since 2018. My style reflects my love for color in life! Im a vibrant, true to life color photographer. Im so inspired by so many parts of life I welcome it all! Birth, Newborn, Milestone, Family, Maternity, Seniors, Engagement, Weddings .... and anything in between! I strive to capture the unscripted emotional parts of life that tells your story at the point in life you're at in an authentic way. My hope is for you to have an enjoyable experience always.
